It was reported on the CBS Evening News tonight that 87% of Americans report they will have more than enough money from Social Security for the necessary basics once they retire.
My question is this:
1. Who are these people?
2. Why wasn't I called?
3. Were they ALL drinking?
4. What did the other 13% say?
5. And the most important question:
How did they choose between food, heat and medicine?
I can only afford one choice!
Thank God cat food is cheap and I'm a bit healthier than some!
I think that 87% of the American's that they contacted are living in a dream world and have not sense of reality
ReplyDeleteOr they have never really faced the "real" problems and trials of life. When one has had all his/her needs met by others and have never had to depend upon themselves for anything, it is likely that they will continue to expect that everything will be taken care of for them.

ReplyDeleteThe people who have always been taken care of will not get any social security, maybe disability but not social security.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah? There are plenty of loopholes for these folks...but maybe just that is the fact that they "think" that there is or will be enough for them in the future when in fact there will be nothing.
